PROFILE:

Judy Tolley is a collage artist who works mainly in small and medium sized collage on canvas. She is a participant in local gallery and art shows in Milwaukee, Wis.

Judy has developed a dedicated following and has received acclaim in local major media as well as being published in Art World Digest in New York and in Somerset Studio Magazine. Her work has also been exhibited in New York.

She explores the visual effects of both text and images, which tend to carry meaning whether intended or not.

Judy creates from her imagination and enjoys her audiences many different interpretations of her work. "Never having had formal training in art leaves me free to express myself in many different ways with various mediums. My work is created from oil crayons, color pencils, watercolor, paper objects, and gel medium on canvas."
